Time-Wasters:
These are individuals who show interest in your bike but have no real intention of purchasing it. They may schedule viewings only to back out last minute or spend hours asking questions with no follow-through, wasting your valuable time.
Tyre Kickers:
Tyre kickers are people who come to inspect your bike without any serious intent to buy. They may test ride your motorbike or nitpick every detail, often just for fun or curiosity, leaving you frustrated.
Scams and Fraud:
Private sales are often targeted by scammers. Be cautious of buyers who propose unusual payment methods, such as overpayments or fake bank transfers. Always verify the authenticity of payments before handing over the bike or its documents.
Theft:
Allowing strangers to view your bike at home or take it for a test ride can expose you to theft.
Hagglers:
Haggling is common in private sales, but overly aggressive negotiators can make the process exhausting. Some buyers may try to pressure you into accepting a much lower price than what the bike is worth.
Low-Ball Offers:
Be prepared for buyers who will undervalue your motorbike, offering significantly less than its fair market price. These offers can be frustrating, especially if you're looking for a reasonable return on your investment.

By being aware of these challenges and taking precautions, you can make the selling process smoother and safer.

You set the price you want for your bike, and we’ll provide guidance on whether it’s realistic and achievable based on factors like mileage, condition, service history, and current market trends. Listing a motorbike at an inflated price won’t attract genuine interest, so we ensure your pricing aligns with market expectations for the best results.
We will advertise your bike for one month, and if it doesn’t sell within that time, the choice is yours:
a) Take your bike back with no charges, or
b) Extend the listing for another month and try again.
Additionally, if you decide to withdraw your bike from sale at any point, you can simply take it back with no fees to pay.

In our contract, you specify the minimum amount you’re willing to accept for your bike, which is legally binding.
We will present all offers we receive, and the decision to accept or decline them is entirely up to you.

Nine times out of ten, your asking price and our selling price provide enough margin for us to make a small profit, so no additional fees are required.
However, if the margin is too small to cover costs such as advertising, marketing, motorbike valeting, MOT (if required), servicing (if required) and warranty, we will charge a small fee. This fee will be discussed and agreed in advance before you instruct us to sell your bike.

"Can't recommend SBI enough. Recently sold my HONDA CBR650R. They picked up the bike, touched up some minor scuffs and got it sold for a fair price.... I trusted them immediately, bike was kept in a secure location and even sent me a video to show it in their showroom.... I received the money the same day it was sold. Would recommend!
